Super deep drawing is one of our specialty techniques we have developed over time.
Size of the final processed part (far right): Φ4.5 x Length 280mm.

HSLA Steel Thickness Control
The part shown was successfully drawn out of high tensile steel that is stronger than 780N.
This part is made solely from forming process, there is no joining or rolling.
We can ensure thickness is maintained where strength is vital and also reduce thickness to make the part lighter.
Thickness can be reduced from 1.6mm to 1.0mm. Parts can be made with mirror finish.

Flow Control Forming
The part shown was previously made using a forging then machining process.
We have been able to eliminate the need for machining by implementing flow control forming in our forging process which led to a 30% cost reduction.
Flow control forming allows us to control the thickness variance throughout the part by a max of 4mm.

Parts made using high tensile steel are normally made using a heated press to reduce cracking and to allow for easier forming.
Higuchi has been able to develop a process that allows us to produce these parts using cold press only.
